This Funke HS Gravity Adoptable Double Socket Coupler and Central Stop is an uPVC sewer and drainage system piece. You can combine it with other sections for a complete, cost-effective uPVC structure.
This Coupler and Central Stop comes from the Funke HS Gravity range. It is a strong alternative to clay and concrete adoptable pipe systems and is manufactured with a solid wall to guarantee a sturdy structure with impressive performance. The robust build does not stop it from being lightweight, ensuring easy handling and transportation. As an ideal alternative to the traditional pipe, it diminishes Health and Safety concerns while less machinery and plant equipment is needed when moving it on-site.
Suitable for used by councils for inspection chambers, the pipe is approved for use by all main water companies in the UK, including Anglian Water, Wessex Water, Southern Water and Severn Trent. The dark brown colour fits right in with the surroundings, and each HS® pipe and fitting is expertly pressure-tested to 2.5 bar. The entire range is suitable for installation in high water-table locations.
The design of the pipe includes a plain-ended finish and chamfered spigots. The innovative ridge ensures an audible 'click' sound to indicate a secure connection.
