Suitable for domestic applications, including driveways, gardens and patios, and public areas, such as pedestrian walkways, door thresholds, squares, recreational areas, schools, parks and playing fields, this Accessories Pack for the Protecto drainage channel includes easy-to-install products. The two end caps and one connecting bracket suit use with a drainage pipe, allowing you to complete your system with ease.
CE marked and fully certified to Load Class A15 BS EN 1433, the drainage channel is eco-friendly and 100% recyclable. It can be effortlessly slotted in front of your building entrance or within a paved or asphalt area, creating an unobstructed channel cross-section. Surface water is gathered and diverted to an underground drainpipe or an alternative escape route. Thanks to the anti-slip, hardwearing galvanised steel grate, the channel offers high structural integrity across the area, allowing it to withstand foot traffic and very light vehicles.
Individual channels clip together to aid on-site fabrication. It can be easily cut where a part-metre length is necessary, and all slots and measurement grooves run the whole way through the channel to permit the installation of sidebars into cut channels. To aid inspection and cleaning, 1m long fully assembled drainage channels include integrated steel grids and innovative locking clip systems for effortless opening.
