Designed to collect surface water off paved or asphalted areas and direct it towards a drainpipe or underground escape route, this anti-slip hard-wearing grate is made from galvanised steel. It maintains its structural integrity across the area so that foot traffic and very light vehicles can pass over the drain without any issues.
Ideal for a wide range of applications, this drainage channel is suitable for domestic applications such as driveways, gardens and patios, as well as in public areas such as pedestrian walkways, door thresholds, squares, recreational areas, schools, parks and playing fields. CE marked and completely certified to Load Class A15 BS EN 1433, it is environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable. Featuring an innovative locking clip system and integral steel grid, this 1m long fully assembled drainage channel can be effortlessly opened for inspection or cleaning.
Created for a straightforward and quick installation, this Protecto-drain drainage channel easily slots in front of the building entrance or within the paved/asphalt area to provide an unobstructed channel cross-section. Each individual channel clips together for simple on-site construction. It is incredibly easy to cut on areas where a part-metre length is required. All measurement slots and grooves run the full way through this channel so sidebars can also be successfully installed into cut channels.
