is the lid 600 x 600 because I already have a frame in place which takes this size

The Composite Sealed Manhole Cover has internal dimensions of 600mm x 600mm, which means the clear opening is indeed this size. However, it's important to note that the external dimensions are slightly larger, at 650mm x 650mm. This is due to the polypropylene frame that comes with the cover. If you already have a frame in place that accommodates a 600mm x 600mm cover, this product should fit, but you may want to consider the external dimensions as well to ensure a proper fit.

Does the double seal prevent water ingress?

Answer:

This only prevents odour; it does not prevent water ingress or act as a pressure plate

what is the A15 weight class

Answer:

This means is is pedestrian rated, 1.5 tonnes.

Question:

How is the frame fixed? Does it need to be cemented in or are there screw/bolt holes for fixing to ground?

Answer:

This would need to be embedded in cement. The screws act as a locking seal.
