Description

This cast iron soil pipe access with a rectangular door has been manufactured with aesthetics and longevity in mind. Part of the Traditional Express range by Hargreaves Foundry, this bend utilises push-fit sockets fitted with rubber sealing gaskets. Making jointing of 100mm socketless pipes and fittings easier. A cost-effective solution, the push-fit technology also maximises savings in labour for each joint. Particularly when full installation instructions are provided. Meaning no specialist training is required.

For appearance, the Traditional Express range replicates the look of a caulked lead jointed system perfectly. Using contemporary cast iron not only ensures a heritage aesthetic look of traditional LCC soil systems but ensures it is a suitable solution for listed properties and conservation properties. It is also supplied pre-painted in specially developed black gloss paint. Making it ready to install and offering increased additional time saving on site.

Cast iron isn't limited to aesthetic benefits. Manufactured to BS 416 part 2 standard, the material is adored for its sustainable and durable structure. If installed to the correct standard, it can even last over 100 years with minimal maintenance required. Sound-deadening properties are also apparent in the material, making it particularly suitable for soil and waste solutions. Once it has served the needs of a building for its lifetime, it can be fully recycled and not 'downcycled'.
