This long radius bend is part of the Hargreaves 'Traditional Express' range of hardwearing and highly resilient cast iron push-fit soil pipes. Using tough and durable cast iron and specially developed gloss paint, this system is designed for a lifetime of dependable performance. Cast iron is naturally strong, resistant to a wide range of undesirable factors such as distortion and vibration, and is highly effective at deadening sound whilst in use. Highly sustainable, these soil pipes utilise a simple and effective push-fit socket system, sealing with two EPDM gaskets for a tight and reliable seal.
Perfect for traditional properties and listed buildings, the Traditional Express range is an ideal paring for these properties. The system is practically indistinguishable from older 'caulked lead' designs, giving you an excellent combination of old aesthetics and new materials. Manufactured to BS416 part 2, Traditional Express pipes and fittings are supplied pre-painted in specially developed black gloss paint ready to install, offering increasing installation speed. Superlatively durable, these products can - if correctly installed - be expected to last in excess of 100 years, leaps and bounds ahead of plastic variations. This system is available in three variants: eared, plain and slip-eared.
