The Hargreaves 'Traditional Express' soil range is a hardwearing and naturally resilient cast iron push-fit soil system, designed for a lifetime of dependable performance. Cast iron is a naturally tough material, resistant to a wide range of undesirable factors such as distortion and vibration, and deadening sound whilst in use. Highly sustainable, these soil pipes utilise a simple and effective push-fit socket system, sealing with two EPDM gaskets for a tight and reliable seal.
Ideal for traditional properties and listed buildings, the Traditional Express range is a perfect complement and natural aesthetic fit for these properties. The system is practically indistinguishable from older caulked lead designs, giving you an excellent combination of old styles and new materials. Manufactured to BS416 part 2, Traditional Express products are supplied pre-painted in specially developed black gloss paint ready to install, offering increasing installation speed. Superlatively durable, these products can - if correctly installed - be expected to last in excess of 100 years, a rare claim compared to other systems. This system is available in three variants: eared, plain and slip-eared.
