As part of the Halifax Soil and Drain system from Hargreaves Foundry, this double spigot pipe is manufactured from robust cast iron material with a standard length of 3m and a 200mm diameter.
Compliant with British and European standard BS EN 877, this soil pipe can coordinate with a complete range of pipes and fittings for the dispersion of rainwater and wastewater through your building to as far as the sewer. Thanks to its enhanced surface finish and superior strength, it can deliver a fit-and-forget solution in most installations. This is particularly important where maintenance would be disruptive to the inhabitants of your building and when pipework is hidden and inaccessible.
You will be pleased to know that cast iron is a sustainable material. This ensures that after functioning for the drainage needs of your building for its lifecycle, this soil pipe can be completely recycled instead of 'downcycled'.
The Halifax Soil and Drain System uses Max and Connect couplings which both share a similar single-screw design for above-ground installations. They offer the fastest jointing method available on the market for BS EN 877 above ground applications. Also, for systems needing cast iron couplings to coordinate with pipework, the Halifax ductile cast iron coupling is available.
