As the perfect fit-and-forget solution, this 87.5° short bend soil pipe is part of the Hargreaves Mech 416 cast iron soil system which provides a contemporary alternative to traditional soil systems. Ideal for commercial and industrial buildings, the reliable and simple couplings make it especially suited for extension and repair projects.
Manufactured from cast iron, which is sustainable, this 87.5° short bend can be fully recycled instead of downcycled after serving the requirements of your building for its lifespan. When correctly installed, it can last over 100 years with minimal maintenance needs.
From the Mech 416 soil range of mechanical jointed, socketless pipes and fittings, this 87.5° short bend with a 50mm diameter is suitable for above-ground soil and waste installations. Made to comply with the standards of BS 416 (part 2) when fitted with the mechanically jointed system, it features a matt black finish with a two-part epoxy coating. Offering all the advantages of a standard BS416 socket and spigot cast iron soil system, it also provides substantial labour savings thanks to the effective jointing techniques applied.
