Hargreaves Foundry's 'Mech 416' range is a highly durable and dependable fit-and-forget cast iron soil pipe system. Offering you a solid alternative to traditional soil pipe systems in challenging industrial and commercial settings, this modern platform provides a comprehensive base platform for projects. The robust and reliable coupling design makes the system ideal for repair, retrofitting and extension projects. Utilising naturally resilient cast iron, correctly installed pipes and fittings will last more than 100 years with minimal maintenance. This unit is a 50mm 45 degree short bend.
The Mech 416 soil systems provides a mechanically jointed range of socketless cast iron pipes and fittings, ranging from 50mm to 150mm diameters and suitable for above-ground soil and waste installations. The system is designed and manufactured to meet BS 416 Part 2 and is finished with a matt black two-part epoxy coating. Generally, mechanically jointed systems provide all the benefits of a conventional BS416 socket and spigot system but also offer significant labour savings due to the efficient jointing techniques employed.
