The smooth bore and smooth-walled tapered sockets equip the bend with added convenience and extra help for jointing during installation. Made to exacting standards, rotationally moulded fittings have controlled tolerances to result in precise and consistent internal socket diameters, resulting in easy installation.
Thanks to the robust yet lightweight polyethylene (PE) construction, handling and installation are quicker and easier processes than for non-plastic fittings. This material is resistant to naturally occurring chemicals, which is ideal for most soil conditions, with a tough, ribbed body for added durability and resistance to deformation in the face of higher compressive load. Designed to last up to 50 years, the smooth inner surface aids hydraulic flow.
