Brought to you by Armacell, this Class O Armaflex pipe insulation is designed to fit around various pipes for different applications. Manufactured from nitrile rubber, you can install it around hot and cold water services, ductwork, chilled water lines, refrigerated pipework and more.
Whichever one or more applications are needed; this flexible insulation can easily slip over pipes quickly without concern of damaging the insulation or your pipes. During colder temperatures, it reduces frost on pipes, conserves energy and controls condensation levels. This is great if you have concerns about bills and repairs as you can save money on these matters that might result from frost or condensation damage. Extra energy conservation is achieved thanks to a vapour barrier built into the pipe. Its material also keeps it dust and fibre-free.
If you have concerns over fire safety, this pipe insulation has demonstrated zero surface spread of flame. As a result, this product is recommended to combat thermal bridging. For noise prevention, acoustic insulation has been incorporated to reduce the noise of water and air travelling through the pipes.
