This round downpipe with ears is made in conjunction with the cast aluminium Alumasc Heritage rainwater system and is a perfect feature for traditionally designed buildings in both refurbishment and new build applications and can be used as a direct alternative for cast-iron downpipes. Suitable for both flush and projecting eaves installations.
Available in 1, 2 or 3 metre lengths and a range of diameters to fit your needs, this circular downpipe is made from robust and corrosion-resistant aluminium with a life expectancy of 40 years in suburban/rural areas and up to 25 years in marine/industrial areas. Coated with factory-applied BBA approved polyester powder coatings, this downpipe is offered in a variety of colours with the option of a textured black surface to resemble cast iron. This downpipe provides the essential assistance for your gutter system by channelling rainwater from your roof to a drain at ground level.
This extruded aluminium downpipe is easy to fix with pipe jointing for up to 100mm diameters by separate sockets to give maximum flexibility and welded on sockets for the 150mm downpipe. With a straightforward fixing to the wall by eared sockets, this downpipe needs minimal maintenance once installed. Manufactured in the UK to British standards and made from 100% recyclable aluminium.
