For a discrete option, this ACO UniFace GS recessed access manhole cover is perfect. The high-quality, hot-dipped galvanised steel frame is great for leaving landscape appearances undisrupted and areas where tolerance to up to 44 tonnes of Gross Laden Vehicle Weight is necessary. These applications include shopping centres, schools, hospitals, warehousing, offices and other internal commercial applications.
The manhole cover has a frame depth of 83mm and the recess itself will accept floor finishes up to 15mm thick with concrete infill below. To ensure subtly, the single-recessed cover comes with 4mm steel edges and is compatible with concrete, terrazzo, epoxy, carpeted and wooden floors, as well as floors with ceramic tiles. In addition, the EPDM rubber seal ensures that any liquids, odours or dust are prevented from entering or leaving the access point.
To improve security, the cover comes with a built-in four-point stainless steel locking system, a standard feature among this type of cover. With each access cover ordered, two lifting and locking keys are provided for easy removal and securing of the keys as needed.
