This galvanised steel deep channel section is part of ACO's reliable and versatile 'FreeDeck' adjustable roof and balcony drainage platform. The FreeDeck range combines line and point drainage into a single system, making it a solid choice for a range of domestic drainage projects. FreeDeck uses open-sided drainage channels to collect and convey rainwater towards drainage points within raised or suspended deck structures at surface run-off, percolation and rainwater outlet positions. This unit is fully adjustable for slope, letting you install it with confidence with just a few turns of a screwdriver.
With the majority of the FreeDeck system manufactured using galvanised steel or stainless steel, channels are laid directly onto the insulation layer or waterproofing membrane. This system provides efficient and dependable drainage whether installed with both open or closed joint paving to improve safety for foot traffic and better protect the building. ACO FreeDeck channels also provide level access drainage in compliance with a variety of building regulations including Approved Document M.
