As part of an innovative balcony and roof drainage system, this ACO FreeDeck fixed section end plate can help to coordinate line drainage with point drainage by using an open-sided drainage channel. The system collects and conveys rainwater to drainage points within a suspended or raised deck structure.
Manufactured from galvanised steel, this ACO FreeDeck end plate can combine with a channel to help deliver effective drainage where pavings need to be positioned 'open or close joint' to enhance weathered protection of the building fabric while improving safety for foot traffic. The ACO FreeDeck channel is simply placed directly onto the insulation layer or waterproofing membrane. Rainwater is intercepted at numerous points including at surface run-off, percolation within the deck and rainwater outlet positions.
Ideal for use in safe access and rainwater drainage in various applications, this ACO FreeDeck end plate can be installed with a structure that details into all types of flat roof finishes and is practical within all installations throughout a building's life.
