Description

Quick and easy to install, this Accesso Inspection Chamber Base from Turtle Enviro does not require any wet trades or construction, ensuring considerable onsite savings against a variety of traditional construction methods such as precast concrete. It is lightweight, so no lifting equipment or machinery is needed for most of the Accesso range.

Used separately for shallow invert installations, this 450mm chamber base can also be used at the bottom of a PCC Manhole, providing a preformed solution for labour-intensive benching. Alternatively, it can be assembled with the Accesso 450mm Sealing Ring and the Accesso 450mm Chamber Riser to create an Adoptable Inspection Chamber.

With 160mm EN 1601 main-channel socket connections, this inspection chamber base includes a further four inlet socket connections. Two of the added inlets are 110mm EN 1401 at 45° to the main channel, and two are 160mm EN 1401 at 90°. The side inlets feature fitted blanking plugs, which can be detached if the inlets are required.

This channel base meets the Design and Construction Guidance (DCG) specification for Adoptable Sewers and Sewers for Adoption (SfA7). With a 645mm length, 680mm width and 495mm height, it has a 460mm inlet invert and a 350mm inlet soffit depth.

Please note:

  • Pre-assembled chambers at a range of depths are available, which are supplied as a complete unit, making them easier and quicker to install. A range of Accesso pipework adaptors are also available to suit alternative connections.
  • The depth of this product refers to the distance between the top and bottom of the unit. The invert, meanwhile, refers to the distance between the top of the unit and the bottom of the inside of the connecting inlet pipework.
