Learn moreAssembled in a UK factory, this Accesso Inspection Chamber from Turtle Enviro is delivered as a complete single-piece unit, which makes installation quick and easy without the need for wet trades or construction. This ensures substantial onsite savings against precast concrete and other traditional construction methods.
Thanks to its relatively lightweight, most of the Accesso range does not require any lifting equipment or machinery. With a 450mm chamber diameter, this inspection chamber is available in a range of depths.
With 110mm EN 1401 main-channel socket connections, this Accesso Inspection Chamber includes an additional four 110mm inlet socket connections. Two of the extra inlets are at 45°, and two are at 90° to the main channel. The side inlets are fitted with blanking plugs, which can be removed if the inlets are needed.
Featuring an injection moulded chamber base, this Single Piece Adoptable Inspection Chamber has a stepped base which meets both the Design and Construction Guidance (DCG) requirements for Adoptable Sewers as well as Sewers for Adoption (SfA7). Chamber bases can be used separately for shallow invert installations as well as at the base of a PCC Manhole, providing a preformed option to labour-intensive benching.
Please note:
Question:
Hi, this is an adoptable inspection chamber, so how does one connect the outlets to clay pipe as required by water company? They seem to be all sockets for 110mm plastic pipe?
Answer:
The Turtle Accesso 450mm Single Piece Adoptable Inspection Chamber is indeed designed with outlets for 110mm plastic pipework. In order to connect these outlets to clay pipes, you would typically need to use an appropriate adapter. However, it's important to note that the specifics can vary based on your specific setup and requirements. I would recommend referring to the product's Technical Information document for more detailed guidance. Here is the link to the document: Technical Information. If you need further assistance, it may be helpful to consult with a local plumber or the water company to ensure a proper and compliant connection.
