Used in combination with flat or pitched roofs, this coping upstand in Anthracite Grey delivers an easy-to-install and cost-effective solution for upstanding parapets when fitted as part of the Skyline aluminium coping system. With the strap-fixing method, you can allow ventilation over the top of the wall whilst avoiding penetration of the capping to ensure the covering is weatherproof.
Equally suited to both new build and retrofit applications, this upstand is fabricated from aluminium, which is durable yet lightweight, 100% recyclable and non-corrodible. What's more, aluminium has a life expectancy of 40 years in suburban/rural settings and up to 25 years in marine/industrial environments.
With a simple installation process, this coping upstand can be easily attached via a fixing strap profile with an integrated EPDM seal. Typically, this can be accomplished from the roof without the need for external access. Thanks to the concealed fixings that aren't visible on the surface of the coping, neat edges can be maintained. The fabricated fittings of the system are mitred and welded and have a smooth, sleek appearance on the front face.
