Looking to install paved flat surfaces on falls?
Look no further than Wallbarn ASP adjustable paving pedestals, the solution to supporting promenade tiles and paving slabs on terraces, podiums and balconies.
ASP pedestals give the user the freedom to create a tailored, totally flat paving surface. Different heights can be achieved through the telescopic stem that winds upwards and downwards to create millimetre-precise alterations to the height of the paving. The pedestals include positioning lugs, allowing for paving slabs to be placed easily and uniformly, running along straight lines and with room for drainage in between. Even non-sloping flat roofs should include small falls to meet drainage needs, ensuring that no rainwater collects on top of the surface. Instead, it should run below and between the slabs. The cavity created with use of these pedestals ventilates the building between the sub-deck and paving slabs and allows services like cables and pipes to be stored within.
These pedestals are made of polypropylene and come in a range of heights from 25mm to 380mm. They can withstand weights of up to one tonne per unit and won’t shatter at low temperatures. What’s more, they’ve been rigorously tested to withstand temperatures of twenty degrees to minus 40 centigrade. More technical details are available below.
Simple to install, the pedestals are held in place by the weight of their load while the height can easily be set using the adjustable stem while the slabs remain in place.
A variety of differing slope correctors, accessories, different sizes lugs and levelling shims are available to be used with ASP Adjustable paving pedestals.
