Temporary downpipes can be used as a simple and effective solution to incomplete guttering systems during installation and during repairs. For this reason, this range of temporary downpipes offers 7 widths from 4 inches to 36 inches, 2 lengths of downpipe and 2 thicknesses of material.
This temporary downpipe will suit pipes up to 388mm in diameter with no allowance for a gap. This is calculated as written below.
For calculating which pipe diameter this temporary downpipe will suit:
Width of temporary downpipe x 0.6368
E.g. 4-inch width temporary downpipe. 100mm x 0.6368 = 63.68mm max. pipe diameter
For calculating which width temporary downpipe is needed:
(Diameter of pipe x 3.1416) x 0.5 = Temporary downpipe width
