Description

Constructed from extruded aluminium with a 3mm galvanised steel bottom plate and a reinforcement mesh to enhance durability, this Alusthetic Aluminium Triple-Seal Recess 61mm Manhole Cover is lockable with three seals, tested to EN124 for lorry load bearing.

This cover includes two EPDM seals at the base and a third T-rubber seal. The latter sits on the outside of the frame, limiting tension between the recessed cover and frame while reducing any accumulation of dirt. It also helps to maintain an odour-proof, waterproof and gas-proof product.

Suited to external use, this recessed manhole cover enhances the aesthetics of an area as it blends into its surroundings. It prevents the obstruction of a large silver cover and is instead filled with the same substrate as its surroundings for added discretion, ideal for tiled, paved and grassy surfaces.

Please note:

  • Manhole cover measurements are taken from the clear opening, the internal dimensions of the hole are taken to give the size manhole cover that is needed.
  • This triple-sealed recessed manhole cover is 500mm x 500mm and comes with specialist lifting keys provided by EcoGrid so that fitting and maintenance is easier.
  • Triple-sealed aluminium recessed manhole covers are available from 150mm x 150mm to 1000mm x 1000mm in 41mm and 61mm in-tray depths.
