Description

This Alusthetic Aluminium Triple-Seal Recess is a lockable, super shallow version cover from EcoGrid. It comprises extruded aluminium with a 3mm galvanised steel bottom plate and reinforcement mesh. As a result, it forms a durable and pedestrian-bearing manhole cover tested to EN124 standards with a 21mm recess for a suitable infill.

The recessed manhole cover also comes with three seals: two EPDM seals on the base and a T-rubber seal on the outside frame. The third seal is used to reduce tension between the cover and frame, which prevents dirt build-up and contributes to the manhole cover being odour-proof and waterproof.
