Description

Tested to EN124 to lorry load bearing, this Alusthetic Aluminium Double-Seal Recess 68mm Manhole Cover is ideal for use externally. It can be seamlessly incorporated into its surroundings, providing an aesthetically pleasing option rather than an unsightly large silver cover. Simply fill the recessed frame with the corresponding substrate of its surroundings and you can hide the cover, making it a perfect solution for tiled, paved and grassy areas.

This cover is manufactured from extruded aluminium and comprises a 3mm galvanised steel bottom plate, as well as a durable reinforcement mesh. It also includes two seals, one at the base and the other on the outside of the frame. The T-rubber seal on the outside lessens the tension between the frame and the recessed cover, preventing odours from escaping and stopping the accumulation of dirt.

Please note:

  • Manhole cover measurements are taken from the clear opening, the internal dimensions of the hole are taken to give the size manhole cover that is needed.
  • Double-sealed aluminium recessed manhole covers are available from 300mm x 300mm to 1000mm x 1000mm in 48mm and 68mm in-tray depths.
