Intended to blend seamlessly with the surrounding area, this Alusthetic Aluminium Double-Seal Recess 48mm Manhole Cover can be used externally with its durable extruded aluminium construction. It has been tested to EN124 for lorry load bearing, features a 3mm galvanised steel bottom plate, and includes a reinforcement mesh in the cover to enhance the strength of the structure.
Rather than having a large silver cover that obstructs the view, the recessed frame can be filled with the substrate of its surroundings for a continuous finish. It disguises the cover and negates any unsightly appearances, ideal for grassy, tiled and paved surfaces.
This product features two seals, one positioned at the base and the other being a T-rubber seal on the outside frame. Thanks to the T-rubber seal, tension between the frame and cover is decreased, inhibiting the escaping of odours and dirt build-up while maintaining a waterproof, odour-proof quality.

This is okay for traffic. On the double sealed I would suggest domestic level traffic on the triple sealed they can go a little heavier.
