This C250 channel drain from Dek-Drain is manufactured from high density polyethylene for use in areas where traffic will not exceed the weight load class of 25 tonnes. Perfect for historic towns where traffic flow is slow and an original iron grating would be of aesthetic benefit, Dek-Drain have designed this channel and grate for use in kerbs and parking areas too.
Additional reinforcement is given to this C250 channel drain run thanks to 2.4mm galvanised steel edge rails and the ductile iron heelguard grate. Heelguard gives more benefit to pedestrians in areas where people may walk over the channel grate. This feature stops high heels from slipping into the grate and becoming lodge.
The grates that come with this channel drain have 6mm slot sizes for draining water away effectively and each pack contains 2 as they are 498mm each. Large bits of debris will be unable to enter the channel drainage system and smaller items as well as mud, silt and stones can be filtered out with the Dek-Drain ductile iron silt box.
