Due to its fluidised fixed film biozone, this Delta sewage treatment plant has been designed to be more efficient and quieter during operation. The integration of biozones also helps to make the effluent cleaner, enabling it to be dispersed into a public watercourse once permission is granted from the various authorities involved.
