This gasket relaxer tool from Hargreaves' Traditional Express range of cast iron soil pipework is part of a push-fit soil system that has been created for lifetime performance. Ideal for soil and waste solutions, it is made from cast iron which is resistant to distortion with excellent sound-deadening characteristics.
Used to stretch the rubber sealing gaskets in your push-fit cast iron system, this gasket relaxer simply slots into the inside of the gasket and is temporarily left for a few minutes to ensure a straightforward installation between your soil pipes and fittings. Fully recyclable after functioning for the needs of your building throughout its lifetime, it is sustainable, so it doesn't have to be downcycled. With a long life expectancy of over 100 years when correctly installed, the Traditional Express system has the added benefit of minimal maintenance needs. Made to BS415 part 2 standards, it is pre-painted so it's ready to fit, saving you from extra installation time on site.
Emulating the look of caulked lead jointed systems, the Traditional Express system can provide the heritage aesthetic of traditional LCC soil systems.
