Brett Martin Underground Drainage System

Brett Martin design a number of benefits into their product ranges (of which there are many) and we will be going into a bit more detail about the Underground Drainage System.

The drainage range splits up into sectors, such as pipes, gullies, chambers and fittings.

Brett-Martin-GulliesGullies

It has to be said that Brett Martin’s range of gullies is exceptional in both terms of choice and benefits.

The bottle gully range, codes B1001, B1002 and B1003 consists of a common body with three different hoppers, Round, Rectangular and Square respectively. The hoppers are height adjustable, so if you’re not quite sure of the finished ground level, such as the final level of a patio, this flexibility will prove very useful.

The majority of such bottle gullies have a spigot outlet, but this range has a socketed outlet, reducing the cost as no coupler is required to make the connection. Should you require a back inlet, no extra items are required, simply remove the plug and connect straight into the inlet socket.

Brett Martin’s range doesn’t stop there though. You can have tubular traps, a low level P trap (code B1300), a range of hoppers to suit, plus a 300mm dia Yard Gully (code B6300) and two 450mm vari-outlet Road Gullies (codes B7450 and B9450)

Brett-Martin-Inspection-ChambersInspection and Shallow Access Chambers

Pre-formed Inspection and shallow access Chambers are also an area that Brett Martin offers a wide choice and a range of benefits.

Chambers (Manholes) form an essential means of access into the drainage system and there are substantial cost savings to made with a well-designed layout.

Shallow Access Chambers, which have a maximum invert depth is 600mm (Base and two risers), can be used to prevent the use of a larger and more costly 450mm Inspection Chambers.

Two Shallow Chambers are available, one at 280mm dia, with single 110mm x 45º connections each side and a 315mm dia, with two 110mm connections each side. Chamber risers (codes B2801 and B3151 respectively) are used up to the finished ground level.

Inspection Chambers, which are used when invert depths exceed 600mm, are 450mm in dia and are offered with both 110mm (code B5494) and 160mm (code B5696) main channels. As with the smaller versions, Chamber Risers (code B5397). Please note that Sealing Rings (code B5398) are an optional extra with the 450mm range.

The ‘Underground’ terms also encompasses a wide range of other systems, such as Sewer Pipe & Fittings, MDPE water supply Pipe & Fittings, Rainwater Harvesting, Sewerage Treatment, Grease Traps and, shortly, Attenuation Crates.
